Alternatively, you can choose the typical dish of Fajã do Santo Cristo, clams, which are produced at the lagoon of Fajã do Santo Cristo. It is important to highlight that you may only savor this magnificent dish from august 14th to may 14th, for the capture of clams is forbidden for the remainder of the year. If you do not prefer the clams, you may opt for the limpets, a mollusk much appreciated by locals and visitors alike, as with the clams, the limpets are only served from june 1st to september 30th.
