Festa do Emigrante 2023

The Emigrant Festival, one of the biggest festivities on the island of Flores, will take place between July 14 and 17, with a very full poster:

July 14th – Friday

• 7 p.m. – Opening of the group exhibition “Peace among Peoples”

• 9:30 p.m. – Performance of the local band “Full K’ords” (Main Stage);

• 11:30 p.m. – Performance of the artist “Cláudia Martins e Minhotos Marotos” (Main Stage)

• 1 a.m. – Musical entertainment with DJ Mois3s and DJ Tiago C

July 15th – Saturday

• 3 p.m. – Whaling Boat Tours, organized by the Clube Naval de Lajes das Flores (Lajes Bay);

• 4 p.m. – Presentation of the Science On Project (Lajes Bay);

• 8 p.m. – Parade of Motards, with the Motard Group 100 Stress (Avenida do Emigrante);

• 8:30 p.m. – Parade of the March of EB 1, 2/JI of Lajes das Flores, accompanied by the Philharmonic Union Worker and Cultural of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Fajãzinha (Avenida do Emigrante);

• 9 p.m. – Parade of the March of the Casa do Povo de São Brás, from Terceira Island accompanied by the Philharmonic Band Sociedade União Uzelinense, from São Jorge Island (Avenida do Emigrante);

• 9:30 p.m. – Parade of the Official March of the Emigrant Festival, accompanied by the Philharmonic Union Operára and Cultural of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Fajãzinha (Avenida do Emigrante);

• 11:30 p.m. – Performance of the band The Gift (Main Stage);

• 1 a.m. – Back to 80′ % 90′ with DJ New House (Main Stage);

• 2 a.m. – Musical entertainment with DJ KEVU, DJ Mois3s and DJ Tiago C (Main Stage);

July 16th – Sunday

• 3 p.m. – Whaling Boat Tours, organized by the Naval Club of Lajes das Flores (Lajes Bay);

• 4:45 p.m. – Procession of the Divine Holy Spirit, with participation of the Houses of the Holy Spirit of the Municipality (Avenida do Emigrante);

• 5:30 p.m. – Solemn Mass (Church of Nossa Senhora do Rosário);

• 7 p.m. – Concert of the Philharmonic Band Sociedade União Urzelinense, from the island of São Jorge (Municipal Garden);

• 7:30 p.m. – Bodo de Leite with the collaboration of the Lajense Cultural Association (Municipal Garden);

• 8 p.m. – Performance of the group of chamarritas Centro Social Cultural e Recreativo da Silveira, island of Pico (Municipal Garden);

• 9:30 p.m. – Awards ceremony of the Beach Volleyball Tournament (Paços do Concelho Building);

• 10 p.m. – Concert of the Light Music Orchestra of the Municipality of Horta, from the island of Faial (Main Stage);

• 11:30 p.m. – Performance of the band Uzhoms (Main Stage);

• 1 a.m. – Musical entertainment with DJ Mois3s and DJ Tiago C.

July 17th – Monday

• 7 p.m. – Intervention of the Mayor of Lajes das Flores (Noble Hall of the Municipality of Lajes das Flores);

• 7:15 p.m.- Attribution of Honorific Insignias (Noble Hall of the Municipality of Lajes das Flores);

• 7:45 p.m. – Musical Moment with Laura Belo and Santiago Melo (Noble Hall of the Municipality of Lajes das Flores);

• 9 p.m. – Parade of the Official March of the Emigrant Festival, with the Philharmonic Union Worker and Cultural of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Fajãzinha (Avenida do Emgirante;

• 10 p.m. – Performance of the band K7 PIRATA (Main Stage);

• 11 p.m. – Performance of the band Eskilograma (Main Stage);
