The genuine Queijo do Vale cheese is handmade, with milk from the farm itself, where the cows cohabit with the verdant Azorean nature in the "Vale da Lagoa Seca".

The cheese is unique for its brine, which is made with carbonated water from springs in Furnas, also known as Água Azeda, collected directly from the Furnas hydrothermal field.
